Qualifications: (i) Masters' degree in Civil,'Hydraulic/Water Resources Engineering/Flydrology. (ii) At least 5 out of 10 years' experience should be on preparing critical reviews, appraisal reports research reports. Etc. as evidenced by publications.

Educational Requirements: (i) Masters’ degree in Geology’Applied (gieology’Physics` Chemistry/Mathematics/ Computer Science or degree in Mining Engineering/(chemical/Mechanical/Engineering/ Chemicals Technology/Petroleum Technology/Oil Technology of a recognized University or Part ‘A’ & ‘B’ of Associate Member of Institute of Engineering (AM1E) in Mining Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering.
(ii) 10 years’ research/design/development/planning/execution experience in the exploration/ development/exploitation/conservation of fossil fuels and Fossil fuel-based industries.

Other Qualification: (i) Doctorate degree in Geology/Applied Geology/Physics/ Chemistry/Mathematics or Masters’ degree in Mining Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Oil Technology/Petroleum echnology/Computer Science ofa recognized University.
(ii) At least 5 out of 10 years’ experience should be on progress appraisal and/or monitoring of projects/production/conservation/consumption of fossil fuels.
(iii) Training, if any on application of computers in monitoring and design/development and operation of data base information systems.
