Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has publicized a notice as TNPSC Recruitment 2014 for filling up the vacancies of the 4963 vacancies of Typist, Assistant, and Surveyor. Willing applicants can apply through the online mode on or before the last date that is given below.

Age Limit:

Age of the applier must not be more than 30 years as on 01st July 2014.  Relaxation is provided according to the norms of the organization.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification

Aspirants must have minimum General Educational Qualification as candidates must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.

Technical Qualification

(a) For Typist:

Candidates must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting by Higher /Senior Grade in Tamil and English/Lower/ Junior Grade in English/ Tamil.

(b) For Steno-Typist, Grade I:

Candidates must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand by Higher /Senior Grade in Tamil and English/Lower/ Junior Grade in English/ Tamil

Computer Qualification (for Typist and Steno-Typist, Grade I)

Applicants must have passed the “Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department.

Application Fee:

• Candidates have to pay Rs. 125/- as the fee. SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 50/-
• Candidates should also to pay the service charges applicable to the Bank (or) Post Office (or) Fe Processing Agency.
• Fee can be submitted either by the offline mode or by ONLINE MODE

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Written Test.

• Select the ‘apply online’ tab on before the advertisement 18/2014.
• Select your post and fill all the details correctly.
• Upload your photograph and signature.
• Press on ‘submit’ button.
• Take print out of the application form for future use.
