Educational Requirements: A basic university qualification included in the schedule to Dentist Act, 1948 (16 of 1948).

Qualifications: MDS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India in the subject concerned.

Experience Requirements: Nine years teaching experience in the speciality concerned after postgraduate degree out of which at least four years should be as Associate Professor/ equivalent post in the speciality concerned.
